My Meeting with Prof. Masood-ul-Hasan Sahab

During my recent trip to Aligarh, I had the opportunity to spend some time with Prof. Masood-ul Hasan sahab. It was a great pleasure and honor to spend quality time with people like Prof. Masood-ul Hasan. Professor Masood-ul Hasan is a doyen of English studies in India. His eminence need no introduction to the learned audience. His humbleness and modesty was a true reflection of the old and dying traditions of Aligarh and Aligarians.

It was a coincidence that Nawab Ibne Saeed Ahmad Khan Chattari, former Honorary Treasure of Aligarh Muslim University also paid a visit to meet Prof. Masood-ul Hasan sahab and I got the opportunity to meet another Aligarian who had lived his entire life in and around Aligarh Muslim University and his family has a close tie with our beloved Alma Mater for a long time.

I hope I had more time to pay few more visits to people like them and learn something which we are loosing every day.
